Crypto-Native & Derivatives Analysis

Reading Crypto-Native Data Together

Stacking funding, open interest, liquidations, and flow into one coherent read.

Each crypto-native signal is a single instrument; the music is in the chord. Funding shows what positioning costs, OI shows how much is open, liquidations show where the fuel is, basis shows the price of leverage, and order flow shows the live aggression. Stacked, they tell one story — or visibly disagree, which is information too.

A fragile-long signature

  • OI rising fast (lots of new positions)
  • Funding strongly positive (longs crowded and paying)
  • Basis stretched high (expensive leverage)
  • Spot flow lukewarm while perp flow leads
  • → over-leveraged longs: a dip can trigger a liquidation cascade.

An accumulation signature

  • Spot CVD rising while perp stays flat (real buyers, little leverage)
  • Funding neutral or negative (no long crowd to squeeze out)
  • OI building quietly without a funding spike
  • → healthier base than a leverage-driven pump.

The discipline

No single reading is a trade. The edge — to the extent there is one — is confluence: several independent crypto-native signals pointing the same way at once, read on top of the price structure from the Foundations module. And as this project's own research shows, even strong confluence is a probability, not a promise. Manage risk accordingly.
